Planning a party for a teenager can be fun and exciting, I always look forward to celebrating my kids birthdays and seeing them be so happy:). Sometimes teenagers won’t give a straight answer to the question, “what do you want or want to do for your birthday?”
When coming up with ideas for your teenagers birthday celebration you need to definitely keep in mind the Birthday Boy/ girl’s personality and interests.
With My 17 year old he doesn’t like too much attention, has a laid back personality, he likes colorful things, and electronics. Oh yes, my child loves pizza and chocolate.
All of this counts because most of the time we will not get a straight answer but, we do know that they want something. So lets get into the FUN of how you can celebrate on a budget!!!!
How we Celebrated
Food we ate
- Pizza. I ordered Pizza from Papa Johns, I feel like pizza is always a winner for kid parties. Pizza is easy, doesn’t require any preparation just money and some plates!
- Cake and Ice cream. I ordered a Cake from Publix and bought a bucket of Ice cream.
- Chips. I purchased a couple bags of variety pack chips.

Party location
We celebrated in our home with close family because, my son does not like too much attention. He loves a small setting just being with family and he never asks for much. I also know that his birthday is very important to him so, I always like to make it personable for him!

In conclusion, your teenager’s birthday celebration does not have to cost a lot of money or time. I decorated our home for his Birthday gearing everything to his personality and what he likes.
That way he can feel special on his special day. My 17 year old loved everything and was sooo happy!!! He doesn’t like to post his photos so, with respect of his wishes none of the photos have him in them. Just have fun celebrating your babies:)
Next year my oldest child will be 18 YEARS OLD (crying real tears) so, I would like to plan an 18th Birthday trip for him so stay tuned for that😊. Meanwhile, here is a post about our Florida vacation incase you missed it.
Hope this post helps with some ideas to party at home.
Blessings,
Andrea
